FYI, my measurements are 40" chest, 28" waist and 37" body. I got a large. It works but the laces are out pretty far and I hope this information is helpful for you. The fabric is really nice. The latches are almost impossible for getting latched but easier than the over the bust style I obtained. I was able to get this on by myself by laxation the back laces a lot, putting it on and doing the actual latch in the front and then reaching around to the back and pulling on the center of the laces. I was even able to tie it. The straps do look a little strange in that they don't lie flat with the back let come out of the closet. I wish I'd gotten a little larger size because of this the rounded front that is wear your boobs would lie might be a to narrow for my chest but doesn't really give you that "pushup" look like you'd think, but a bra will work below. I do love how it feels on my back. I'm any "sloucher" and this will definitely remind me to stand straight
I used to be a little hesitant about buying this after reading about it definitely not fitting people correctly, smelling like fish, crappy ties, and so along. I decided I couldn't pass up this sale though! When it arrived, it just smelled like fake leather... which is what it is! It fits me perfectly as well! I ordered a small (I'm a 32C, with a 28 inch waist) and it fits utterly! I never had to really adjust anything, I just put it on and it was awesome! I am very, very happy I purchased this at such a great price. And the leather thong this came with was pointless... Just toss it when you get the idea. I think that if you get this expecting to tie this sooo tight with the "ribbon-ish" ties... it might not do the job. I think the ribbon ties it came with are pretty yet might not be realistic if you're trying to really cinch the waist. Overall, great choice!
I ordered this item on Sept 6 for around 20.00 free shipping for a pirate costume I used to be creating for halloween. Amazon had given me an estimated time connected with arrival between OCT 12 through OCT 30. Worried that I would not recieve the item in time I contacted the seller that quick about my concerns. They responded back to me within 24 time to let me know that amazon sets its own times in addition to Sellers cannot go in and change it. They let me are aware that my item would reach me no later than OCT 1 in case I had any other questions to contact them has needed. By simply Sept 24 I recieved my item and was very pleased to see it fit well and worked great with my costume. I had ordered a Med and usually buy Med to Large in garments. My roommate loves it too and wants one herself! I might really suggest the seller for their great customer service.
